RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE CHARITIES
Stampin' Up! is partnering with Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC) to bring comfort and creativity to the lives of Ronald McDonald House guests. Each year, thousands of families stay at more than 160 independently operated Ronald McDonald Houses in North America. These Houses serve as temporary homes for the families of seriously ill children who are being treated in nearby hospitals.
SU! is pleased and honored to become a national sponsor of RMHC. Together, these two caring, helping organizations will create a powerful environment in which House guests will be able to enjoy creative expression in the comfort of their "home-away-from-home."
Our Statement of the Heart reflects our commitment to making a difference in people's lives. On an individual level, we build relationships with customers, hostesses, and demonstrators. We also strive to make a difference on larger scale. Demonstrators donate their time at Ronald McDonald House Charities. In addition, Stampin' Up! fundraisers have generated more than $2,000,000 for charities in Canada and the U.S.
Stampin' Up! designs an exclusive stamp set every year to help raise money for Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC). With the help of our demonstrators and customers, we have contributed nearly $700,000 to date. When you purchase this year's stamp set, Very Thankful, Stampin' Up! will donate $2 to RMHC. CHEERFUL GIVERS
Cheerful Givers is a non-profit organization that provides toy-filled birthday gift bags to food banks and shelters so that parents living in poverty can give their child a birthday gift. Every quarter, the local Cheerful Givers group will assemble 350 birthday bags to donate to local charities for this cause. I partner with Cheerful Givers to create birthday cards to accompany these wonderful gifts, and I am in need of your help.
350 cards is a lot to make, and I need as much assistance as I can get to make these cards. Once a quarter, I organized a stamp night for volunteers to help make the cards for this great cause. There is no cost to you; just the donation of your time to brighten many children's days.
As an added bonus, anyone who attends receives a coupon for 10% off of any product order they place during the month of the event.
